Accustomed to being an underdog on his post-apocalyptic Earth who learned how to bring people together to survive, Brigadier's introduction to the Citadel being categorized as a brancher Rick* did not phase him. Already having intentions of keeping his past under wraps, Brig made quick work to eradicate the inferior typecast. He gained respect and recognition for his aptitude in the military, climbing ranks and succeeding in distancing himself from his former life.
Despite his achievements, his relationship with his one surviving family member has been anything but pleasant. Kodak shows only hostility towards him, aggressively frustrated with his grandfather's refusal to acknowledge their roots and how they came to find the Citadel in the first place.

K is a tender man with bitterness towards other Rick's disregard for their families. The prominent treatment of Morty dispensability in the Citadel is something he strongly disagrees with, and because of this, he refuses to get a replacement. He's often lost in his own head and sates wandering thoughts with his penchant for sweets and cigarettes.
K came to the Citadel to find his Morty and applied for the Citadel militia with hope that their resources would lead him closer to that goal. With no luck for many months and no inclination to make connections with other versions of himself, K's days are often lonely -- in spite of the occasional nudge from his boss Brigadier attempting to make him socialize. This Rick lives day-to-day, working and sleeping. Rinse and repeat.

A workaholic with an easy laugh and bright smile, Russ was one of the first Ricks to join the Citadel and considers it the perfect home. Originally a guard, he transferred to the medical examiner position for something more 'easygoing', and from encountering cases of strange species and mutations he rediscovered his teen interest in biology. This blossomed further to a love of crafting microverses to observe organism evolutions along with bodily experimentation, both on himself and others. He may typically be found engrossed in a project, but invitations to party or chill with people who don't mind his excited rambling can easily pull him away from his lab.
Despite how he seemingly is always doing something, you can never catch him sleeping. It seems he's awake all hours of the day, and both coworkers and friends aren't quite sure how he does it.
Relationships:Kai grew up as an only child with K as his caretaker. He had no knowledge of Summer, and was too young to remember his parents. With a supportive Rick who encouraged him in school and helped manage both anxiety and a stutter, Kai was a good student that grew into a confident teen.
When he was 13 he was taken by Red and carefully manipulated to believe that Red is his original Rick with a string of lies and wiped memories, though after four years of this, Kai pieced together parts of the truth and managed to escape him. In an attempt at backwards revenge for how he was treated, Kai decided to eradicate Ricks, but due to poor organization and compassionate rage, he didn't get very far and was quickly discovered by the Citadel.
Through a trial by the council Kai was declared not guilty due to rogue Rick interference and was placed in the Morty adoption process. He's moody and untrusting of Ricks and incredibly protective of other Mortys. Distantly he wonders where his original Rick is, but has mostly decided that it's highly likely they'll be reunited.

This Rick previously was an English teacher at the Morty Academy, but resigned after the death of his grandson. He now owns a bookstore that features a keycard accessible library of literature for anyone to use. Most texts featured are translations of alien documents, novels and other accounts, as it is his hobby -- translating. He created this resource targeted at a Morty audience so that if they choose to be, they can have information at their fingertips that most Ricks don't bother to teach. Some of the fictional books in the shop are his, though he'd never admit his own pen name. By request he's known to tutor Mortys in his free time, or have Mortys work as an assistant in the shop in exchange for books they really want or lessons.
Due to the accident involving his grandson that resulted the scar across his scalp, he deals with an illness that closely resembles epilypsy combined with chronic pain. He's medicated and often uses mobility aids; Day to day he may be using a cane or wheelchair depending on severity.
Ray is at risk for legal repercussions due to having lost his Morty and not making efforts to find a replacement.
Relationships:Comet: Replacement Morty
This Rick was a prominent musician in the late 70s-early 80s but dropped his gig when his side hobby of science began to have more purpose. Heavily involved with the queer community, he left his passion for music to instead work on LGBT healthcare when the AIDS crisis first begun and patented a vaccine for HIV. With the tragedy not nearly as prominent in his dimension, LGBT folks have a more flourishing community as acceptance became the norm and resources are more available.
In the mid 80s, Rick invented various alternatives for the trans community while going through his own transition, streamlining the functionality and results of surgeries and transition methods. At the same time he found his own passion for creating bio-prosthetic genitalia.
With such an impact on Earth, he began to get worn down with his fame and wanted a more quiet life. He missed his band days greatly and when his granddaughter Molly in tow, he decided to move to the Citadel to start an artistic career and "retire", becoming a tattoo artist with a musical side gig to start from scratch as the person he wished he was in his youth. Eventually he couldn't help himself and began selling his prosthetics to Citadel-goers, too.
